Travel to Israel and Palestine- Update
6/16/25
Due to the ongoing military escalation between Israel and Iran, including active airstrikes and retaliatory drone attacks, all travel to Israel and Palestine should be deferred until further notice. Airspace over Israel and Ben Gurion Airport remain closed at this time. The U.S. Department of State has raised the Travel Advisory for Israel and Palestine to a and Crisis24, 糖心logo入口’s evacuation assistance provider, has suspended pre-authorization of services until further notice.
Travelers already in the region should shelter in place, avoid military or government sites, and follow . U.S. citizens should also register with the Department of State’s . Citizens of other nationalities are encouraged to register with similar programs. Be prepared for sudden changes in security conditions, including airspace closures and communication disruptions. Travel Ban Update

The U.S. government has announced a new travel ban, effective June 9, 2025, restricting entry for citizens of 12 countries: Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen citing national security concerns. Partial restrictions will also apply to travelers from seven additional countries: Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
